KINDERGARTEN ROUNDUP/SCREENING - MARCH 30
If you live in the Kensington Road School district (see map on website), and have a child who will be five years old on or before December 1, 2012, please call the office at 793-5151 for further information. A packet of forms will be sent to you (or they can be printed from the website) that must be completed and returned, along with your child's birth certifcate and current immunization records, at your appointment. We will not be able to register your child without these forms. Screening and registration takes approximately 45 minutes. You must have an appointment for registration. You will meet with the registrar, school nurse, and school secretary during your appointment while your child is being screened. Light refreshments will be provided by the KRS PTA.

RECESS
RECESS
Fall..winter..spring..students go outside for recess. We ask that students come to school prepared with the appropriate attire for playing outdoors (please label your child's gear). During the cold and snow season, children should have coats, snow pants or snowsuits, hats, mittens or gloves, and boots everyday. Outdoor recess continues through the winter months unless it is a severely cold or stormy day. Students will be going outside for recess when the temperature is 20 degrees and above. That decision is made daily at recess time, so please send your child prepared for outdoor recess every day. Recreational time is not only important for your child’s physical well-being, but is also a time to build friendships. Dress for the weather and let’s play! Students - NO FLIP FLOPS at school!
Parents, please remember to check our "Lost & Found" for missing items!
